We’re celebrating Chaitra Navratris in India from 22nd March to 30th March. There are two sets of Navratri festivals that are celebrated each year in India. The festival celebrated in the month of October, known as Sharad Navratri, is associated with the idea of victory of good over evil. Importance of Chaitra Navratri Vasanta navratri is another name for Chaitra navratri. It usually occurs in March or April and is the first day of the Hindu calendar. Northern India celebrates this spectacular nine-day event with considerable zeal. This Navratri is observed between March and April during the shukla paksha of the chaitra masa (hindu calendar month).
