THE SCOOP ON SKINCARE

Whitetail Club Members,

Still undecided for where to take the family for Spring Break? Thanks to your snow dances, winter finally decided to arrive here in McCall. With the late February storms, Brundage’s coverage is wonderful, and the mountain is 100% open. Portions of our Nordic Trails are now available for your enjoyment. To better serve you and for your safety, please always sign & check in at the Golf & Nordic Center before using the trail system, as conditions are variable.

March has a couple of wonderful culinary experiences for your family’s enjoyment. Chef Marcus will be conducting a Latin-inspired cooking class on the 7th, and we will be hosting an adventurous experience leading up to our Yurt Dinner on the 21st. Complete details and menu information are available in the portal as well as page 8. Be on the lookout for more information on our Easter Brunch at the Clubhouse on April 5.

Gentleman – it is that time of year – registration opens on April 4 for the annual invitational from August 5 - 8. A special thanks goes out to our Chairman, Marty Dougherty, and Co-Chair, Terry Rogers, for their support in making this event truly special for you and your guests. Complete details can be found on page 7, and registration is available through the Golf Shop and portal.

We are committed to keeping our community safe by adhering to our Club plan and rules. A key note is to always register your guests when using amenities and to keep your codes & fobs secure. We appreciate your help in this effort, and the complete plan, rule, and fee information can be found in your directory or portal.

Over the next couple of months, we will be performing some facility improvements. More details will be available in the weekly communications, as well as any operational adjustments to our normal services.

This past month, we welcomed our newest family into the Whitetail community. Please join us in welcoming Tommy Wall & Kaitlyn Rebholtz. They are very much looking forward to building their home and creating a legacy property for their family.

As always, please let me know if you need anything, and I’ll look forward to seeing you around the Club.

Cheers,

Skin longevity is about supporting how your skin functions over time by keeping skin cells healthy, which helps slow premature aging.

What does skin longevity mean? Are peptides better than retinol now?

Peptides support collagen signaling and skin repair, while retinol still encourages cell turnover and renewal. In 2026, smarter formulations often combine gentle retinoids with advanced peptides to minimize irritation while maximizing results.

How many steps should my skincare routine include?

Less is more. Mornings should focus on protection with Vitamin C and sunscreen. Evenings should support hydration and repair with moisturizer and collagen‑boosting ingredients.

4

What is Hyaluronic Acid and its benefits?

Hyaluronic acid helps your skin stay hydrated, plump, and flexible by holding onto moisture. It’s naturally found in the body and also supports smooth joint movement.

6

How do I identify what my skin type is?

After cleansing, leave your skin bare for an hour. Tightness signals dryness, shine indicates oiliness, T‑zone oil suggests combination skin, and balanced skin is considered normal.

What order should I apply my skin products?

Apply skincare products in order from the thinnest to the thickest consistency. Start with a cleanser, then a toner, serum, spot treatment, and finish with a moisturizer and sunscreen.
