Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Cocalico School District, along with Ephrata, Conestoga Valley and Eastern Lancaster County School Districts, local medical professionals, and Popovsky Performing Arts personnel, kicked off the “Plant the Seed of Learning” Series recently at the Ephrata Community Hospital Health Pavilion. “Plant the Seed of Learning” is an early childhood district initiative that supports the foundation of learning for children ages birth to two. By age 3, 85% of a child's core brain structure is formed, driving the need to support families from birth. This year, they received their biggest response ever, and over 50 families were in attendance to help kick off the first of their four class series, “Making Music With Your Child.” Shown are parents and children enjoying quality time together making music.
