The Friends of the Ephrata Police Foundation is spon soring a CPR class for the citizens of the community. The class is open to the public, with a portion of the fee going to the Foundation. Funds raised will help to cover the startup cost of a K9 Unit for the Ephrata Police Department. The class is being held at the Ephrata Community Commons Building, located between the Ephrata Public Library and Wawa at 550 South Reading Road. The training will be held on Wednesday, November 5, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. There is a cost per person. Class size is limited to 30 people; however a second date of Sunday, November 19 will be scheduled if the first one reaches capacity.
