The public is invited for the first official performance at the newly renovated amphitheater on Saturday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m. for a Summer Concert by the Ephrata Cloister Chorus! Experience an evening of music showcasing the unique legacy of the Ephrata

Cloister. This hour-long per­ formance showcases original works composed by mem­ bers of the historic comm­ unity, alongside selections from other early American musical traditions, classical repertoire, and contemporary compositions. The Ephrata Cloister Chorus is directed

The New Holland Area Historical Society is plann­ ing a two-night event high­ lighting the history of the Victor F. Weaver Poultry Company and the people who made it successful. They plan to explore the history of the company, the

effects it had on New Holland and surrounding communities, and its eventual acquisition by Holly Farms and then Tyson. A group of key past employees will be involved in this presentation and they are hopeful to have an

audience containing people who have many memories of Weaver. The two sessions will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, and Thursday, August 7 at the Chapel at Garden Spot Village. Please join them and share the
