Display Ads: Wednesday, July 2, 4:00 p.m. Classified Ads: Monday, July 7, 9:00 a.m. Normal office hours will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7.

Ephrata Church of the Brethren (ECOB) is busy preparing to host a special community fun night, complete with the amazing fireworks show to finish the

evening. There will be free face painting, inflatables, jugglers, barrel train rides and music. Food and milkshakes will be for sale and you are encouraged to

Ephrata Tidal Waves To Host Special Alumni Swim Meet

The Ephrata Tidal Waves Summer Swim Team is excited to host a special Alumni Swim Meet to bring together past swimmers, current families, and comm­ unity supporters—all while raising funds for the team!

The event is Sunday, July 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ephrata Rec Indoor Pool. Registration and warm-up will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with races beginning at 4:00 p.m. The event is open to Alumni

and open swimmers, and you may swim in as many events as you’d like! There are also Parent/Family Races (ages 14 and under) with a total of six heats available and spots are first come, first serve. Spectators are encouraged
