Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Ephrata High School held its 120th Annual Commencement Program outside at the War Memorial Field under cloudy, but dry, conditions this past Thursday. A packed stadium had the opportunity to not only see students graduate, but got to hear some very mature students deliver some inspirational and heartfelt messages. Class President Katie Hammaker delivered words of wisdom as well as some lighthearted moments as seen in her onstage selfie on the top left. She is also seen on the bottom right putting a beach ball away before it tempts anyone to throw it. Shown in the top photo are, from left to right, Andrea Castillo Romero, Zachary Peters, Debby Saenz and Katie Hammaker holding puzzle pieces they handed the Superintendent. Other memorable moments (shown clockwise) include: Katie Hammaker taking an on-stage selfie with the class in the background; Tori Shotzberger elated at getting her diploma; Ali Conover smiling at her parents; Katie removing a ball; and Morgan Weaver returning with her diploma.
