The Akron Lions Club in conjunction with the Axle Snappers Car Club are calling all cars, trucks, motorcycles and anything with a motor to come out to the annual Akron Day in the Park. This family friendly event will be held Saturday, June 13th from 11:30 a.m.
until 4:00 p.m. in Roland Park. This great community activity includes free Bingo with great prizes, fun activities for the kids, door prizes, as well as delicious food and the ever popular “Adriano” singing the oldies. There will be a candy scatter at 1:00 p.m., pony
rides starting at 12:00 noon and the Swartz Petting Zoo from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Also, a bounce house and kiddie train rides will be available all day. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 100 entrants, with an awards presentation at 3:00 p.m. Everything is free
