An Arbor Day Tree Planting event was held at the new Tree Bank on East Trout Run Road recently. Council members, Mainspring and members of the community gathered to plant five trees. These trees

will have a chance to grow healthy with a strong root system, then be transplanted in a year or two to a location on Main Street in downtown Ephrata. The idea was to start planning for the future need for a downtown tree
