After a dreary winter, the arrival of new life and spring color helps to recharge the senses. Shown in the photos, starting at the top left going clockwise, are Amish sisters all dressed in pink, heading out for a spring ride; a tree on State Street in Ephrata provides the perfect colorful framing; a baby goat had to quickly bolt or get the horns from an elder; a local family stops in the middle of a downpour near New Holland so the brothers can fix their sisters wind-blown umbrella as they huddle in the back; a spring view in Rothsville; a barn accented by a spring tree in Leola; and finally, two baby goats get ready to test their head-butting skills on one another!
