Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese After a long, cold winter, temperatures are slowly beginning to improve and signs of spring are becoming more frequent each day. These three scenes of spring include a group of Amish boys fishing while a young lady baits a hook and one boy reads a book to pass the time, a pair of newborn goats with one deciding the view is better on moms back, and three very young owls snuggle together in their nest in a tree cavity.
Clay Welcomes Author Eric Wight
Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese
The Clay PTO was happy to welcome author and illustrator, Eric Wight recently. Mr. Wight spent the day explaining how he became an author and demonstrating the writing process of a graphic novelist through storyboards and characterization to the different grades in an assembly format. Mr. Wight had lunch with several students giving the lucky group the opportunity for a more focused discussion. For the students who ordered books from Aaron’s Books in Lititz and for those who brought their own, Mr. Wight graciously spent time autographing them.
