It’s not every day you see Route 625 near Terre Hill shut down and the road filled with onlookers. That was the case this past week when a moving company
transported this home, formerly located beside Conestoga Wood, up the road and across the fields to its new location along Conestoga Creek Road, just
south of Terre Hill. The home resting on steel rails and remote controlled sets of wheels navigated within inches of telephone poles and wires as the highly

controlled process played out. A large crowd of locals turned out to witness something they might only see once in a lifetime.
Shown in the photo is the home exiting Route 625 as it begins its journey across farm fields to its new location.
