WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital will offer “Diabetes Intensive Management” classes
on Tuesdays, March 24 through April 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at WellSpan Cocalico Health Center, 63 West Church Street, Stevens. The intensive diabetes management class is designed for individuals with Type 1 diabetes and (Continued On Page 2A)

Mildred attends Landis Homes Adult Day Services, and family and friends held a special party to honor her. Mildred was born in New York City and lives with her daughter in Denver. She has five children, three boys and two girls. Her oldest son is 87 years young. Helping others, having a positive outlook and a calm demeanor are all part of Mildred’s secret to longevity. Mildred is shown with a fresh flower arrangement given to her on her birthday.

Julia is being recognized for her computing-related aspirations and for her demonstrated, outstanding aptitude and interest in information technology/computing; solid leadership ability; good academic history; and plans for post-secondary education. She is one of almost 1,600 young women who is an Affiliate Award recipient this season!
