Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The 10-day Lititz Fire and Ice Festival kicked off this past Friday under chilly blue skies. Crowds turned out in the thousands for this annual celebration. Tons of fun activities take place during the festival, from the chili cookoff to the children’s Winter Funderland, to fire performers and a Maker’s Market. Shown on the opening day enjoying one of the festival’s many ice sculptures are Ari Wittes at the handlebars, while sister Cara and mom Natalie prepare for the motorcycle adrenaline rush that is the Fire and Ice Festival! Additional ice sculptures will be carved for the second weekend of the festival.
