The American Prayer Party (TAPP) is a national movement uniting believers across churches, cultures, and generations through the transforming power of prayer. Founded by Pastors Tomm and Brenda Todd, TAPP mobilizes intercessors, equips leaders, and hosts prayer rallies, training gatherings, and collaborative initiatives designed to bring spiritual awakening, reconciliation, and hope to communities throughout the nation.

With a vision to see the Body of Christ aligned in purpose rather than divided by denomination or politics, The American Prayer Party calls individuals to stand in the gap for families, cities, and every sphere of influence. Through corporate prayer and strategic partnerships, TAPP is helping ignite a culture of unity, faith, and God-centered change across America.

A MOVEMENT BORN OUT OF PRAYER & PURPOSE

The American Prayer Party was birthed through the vision and spiritual leadership of Tommy and Brenda Todd, founders of Gapstanders International Ministries. First launched on May 3, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the movement brought together believers from across the region with one unified purpose: to stand in the gap for America through humble, united intercession. From its inception, TAPP has been clear in its mission -- this is not a campaign, rally, or political initiative. It is a sacred call of prayer, repentance, humility, unity and obedience to God’s Word.

COMMUNITY -- FOCUSED INTERCESSION

Each2026 regional rally will focus on the unique needs of its host city and state, including but not limited to:

• Praying for unity across churches, cultures, and communities

• Interceding for local, state, and national leaders

• Addressing community challenges such as homelessness, education reform, and family restoration

• Calling for spiritual renewal, repentance, and revival

NOT POLITICAL -- BUT SPIRITUAL

The American Prayer Party emphasizes that America’s greatest need is unity, through intercession not division. These rallies are intentionally nonpartisan, welcoming believers of all backgrounds (Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal, Non-denominational, Presbyterians, etc.) to stand together under God for healing, wisdom, and transformation.
