Ballroom Dance Lessons APRIL 13, 20, 27; MAY 4, 11, 18 5:30 PM (beginner) | 6:30 PM (advanced) $35 FOR SIX CLASSES Ballroom dance continues trending and entertaining audiences on television. Now you can learn some ballroom dance steps! It’s a great form of exercise for all ages and a lifelong skill that can provide years of enjoyment. Seasoned dance instructor, Frank Hancock, will have you learning popular dance moves in the inspirational setting of the Luhrs Center stage in no time. Learn the basics as a beginner. Beginners will learn the Tango, Cha Cha, Swing, and Foxtrot. Both singles and couples are welcome. If you have taken ballroom dance before, consider the advanced class.

The Raleigh Ringers JUNE 27 | 7:00 PM $35 PER PERSON The Raleigh Ringers is an internationally acclaimed, Emmy-nominated, advanced community handbell choir that dazzles concert audiences. Under the direction of David M. Harris, The Raleigh Ringers has released eight CDs, and two DVDs of holiday concerts titled One Winter Evening at Meymandi and A December Tradition. Two one-hour concert specials were created from the first DVD and broadcast on over 250 American Public Television stations in 45 states. A new, one-hour holiday special based on the second DVD aired over 400 times in 38 states in its first year of national distribution. The group has performed in 39 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, England and France during its tours, and plays two dates each year at a major venue in Raleigh. The Raleigh Ringers also sponsors an annual festival for adult ringers, an annual festival for youth and less experienced ringers, biannual sight-reading sessions for those interested in new handbell music, a biennial performance experience for advanced ringers, and handbell techniques classes several times a year. Ticket Purchasing Order only through the Luhrs Center box office or luhrscenter.com—we are not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties. A $6 per ticket service charge is applied to each ticket purchased online or by phone, and is non-refundable whether the show is canceled or postponed. *A $35 service charge will be imposed on each returned check in addition to any charges that may be assessed by the financial institution. Luhrs Center also requires that the check writer pay the amount due with cash, certified check, or money order.
Ticket Policies CHILDREN Children 2 years and over are required to hold tickets for performances and must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian in all areas of the Luhrs Center. EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given under any circumstance unless an event is canceled or rescheduled. Internet fees and mailing fees are not refundable under any circumstances. You can purchase tickets in person at the Luhrs Center box office to avoid service charges. Luhrs Center does not rate performer content unless the performer informs Luhrs Center that the performance may not be suitable for all age groups. Luhrs Center strongly urges ticket buyers to be informed about the performances for which they are purchasing tickets. Performer content is not a reason for a ticket exchange or refund. CANCELED OR RESCHEDULED EVENTS If an event is canceled or rescheduled, the Luhrs Center box office will contact ticket purchasers via letter, e-mail, or phone as soon as the cancellation/postponement is announced with information about ticket refund/exchange options. If an event is canceled, ticket purchasers will be refunded the amount of the tickets; however, Luhrs Center does not refund the handling/mailing/service charges related to ticket purchases. Inclement weather is not cause for a refund or exchange unless the performance is canceled or postponed. Cancellation or postponement notices will be posted on luhrscenter.com. REPLACEMENT OF TICKETS If your tickets have been lost, damaged, or stolen, please contact the Luhrs Center box office at (717) 477-SHOW (7469) for assistance prior to the performance date.
