Dear SVA Alumni and Friends,
The 28th annual golf event to benefit Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) was held on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Bryce Resort. More than $59,000 was raised toward new SVA ballfield lights. The weather was beautiful!! A little fine golf was played. The highlights of golf prowess were acknowledged with cash prizes, some of which was left behind to support the fundraising effort. Approximately 40 door prizes were donated and distributed. Thank you, everyone, for a successful day!
Sincere appreciation to the generous sponsors listed in this report. Most of the work to ensure fundraising success is completed prior to play with significant sponsorships. Twenty-seven (27) teams participated, right at course capacity for the third year. Additional funds were raised the day of event with mulligan purchases and a putting contest.
The field was pre-registered and pre-paid at this event and we enjoyed greetings, fellowship, and refreshment before the shotgun start. A full buffet lunch and prize distribution concluded our day.
