Our fall 2022 issue is highlighted by a number of recent honors. Probably the one that stands out a little more than the others was being recognized as the Media Company of the Decade by African Fashion Week Industry Awards.
We felt it legitimized the extensive coverage we have given AFWT through the years, as well so many other events within the interest areas of our reporting. The award couldn't have been more timely what with sharing a photo gallery of our 9 years + anniversary party with our readers.
Our Publisher received another award as one of 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women and writes about her reaction to the award. She was also giving out awards, to two outstanding women as part of Small Business Week on behalf of The Society of Professional Accountants, where she was an inaugural winner herself.
