Now with the new year getting closer I’m so excited for the events we have in store for you guys like our annual monster market and open mic night that you all should stay in tune for. All of our update will be on our instagram so make sure to stay KEY- NNECTE -Madison | President

Hiii monsters!! I hope everyone was able to get a glimpse of their school schedules. School is almost starting and I hope everyone is ready for the year. If you know any incoming freshman, make sure to tell them to check key club out especially during club rush!! More members in key club is always a good thing to have. It will make club meetings and service events more exciting and fun for sure. Excited to see you all during the school year!

Breakfast, 7/4/25 Breakfast, 7/4/25 Breakfast, 7/4/25

This was my first time attending the 4th of July Pancake Breakfast Event, and it was super fun!! We went all the way to Rancho Murieta to help out When we first got there we were greeted by our Kiwanis Advisor, who was super helpful in assigning us stations and jobs. I really enjoyed getting to eat some yummy breakfast before actually starting our jobs, which included scrambled eggs, sausages, and pancakes! I especially enjoyed this because when I’m suuuuper hungry, it’s really hard for me to stay focused on what I’m doing and I’m easily irritated, so that was something I can really appreciate from this experience Overall, I had a lot of fun being able to walk around and clean tables with my friends along the way I would definitely go to this event again!

I would chose to do this event again next year and recommend everyone to do the same! It’s an extremely easy way to get service hours and it’s also fun if you have friends to do it with. Moreover, you also get to meet other school’s key clubs, making it very interactive. Through this event, I also had a chance to meet the kiwanis for the first time since becoming an officer for Sheldon’s Key Club My primary job during this event was to clean the food tables and make sure it was stocked up It felt especially rewarding since I got to interact with others who attended this event.

I think everyone who attended the Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast can agree that the pancakes were YUMMY! At first, I was definitely a bit nervous about attending the event because it was on a holiday, but the spirit there made up for my anxiety. Volunteering with my friends was so fun and we got to go around, talk to people, and clean up for others. I did not enjoy the clean-up part where we had to stack all chairs and tables, but it was worth it to see so much smiling faces and happiness around! I hope I can attend this event again next year :)

Sheldon Interclub Sheldon Interclub Sheldon Interclub

This was actually my first time attending an interclub so I didn’t know what to expect; however it was a pleasant experience Not only were there plenty of good food at this interclub but there was also fun activities to do! Everyone was able to paint their own tote bags which made it incredibly therapeutic I also, personally, really enjoyed the whole “Picnic by the Sunset” vibe that this interclub was giving. I hope to attend another interclub soon and hope that more people come as it’s definitely an event that you shouldn’t miss out on!

I volunteered at the Strauss Festival for around 5 hours and it was honestly so worth it! My personal task was to guard the gates and welcome guests which was an extremely easy task Furthermore, I was paired up with friends which made time past way by faster The adults volunteers were incredibly nice and helpful and even gave us snacks such as candy and rice krispies Moreover, every volunteer was able to receive a free meal like hot dog or nachos alongside a can of soda During this service event, volunteers were also able to watch the performances and enjoy the beautiful views which made the whole experience so worth it! Overall, I’d recommend this service event to everyone as it happens yearly
