Chelsea Business Alliance Luncheon

The first quarter meeting in 2026 of the Chelsea Business Alliance, an affiliate of The Shelby County Chamber, is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 4 at the Chelsea Community Center (11:30 a.m.1:00p.m.).

In addition to some great business networking, our featured speaker will be District 9 Shelby County Commissioner Dr. Robbie Hayes with an update on our county.

The investment for the event, which includes lunch, is $20 per person. To help us prepare properly with the caterer, please be sure to RSVP by no later than noon on Monday, Feb. 2, to Kirk Mancer at kirk@shelbychamber.org.

Eggs & Issues Breakfast

Join us for an Eggs & Issues Breakfast with Alabama's senior U. S. Senator, The Honorable Tommy Tuberville. This program, hosted by the chamber's Governmental Affairs Work Group, is scheduled for Feb. 20 at Inverness Country Club. The investment, which includes breakfast, is $30 per person for Chamber investors and $40 for “Future” investors. Reserved Corporate Tables of six are also available for $200 per table.

Registration for the event starts at 7:30 a.m. with Business Networking; breakfast buffet opens at 7:45 a.m. and the program begins at 8:15 a.m.

2025 Ambassador of the Year: Charmaine Dye

Charmaine Dye began her journey in the Shelby County community in 1993 when she became a broker in the trade community. Becoming a Certified Trade Broker (CTB) in 1997. Charmaine has been the number-one broker for the United States and Canada for several years, becoming their first $1M broker in a year. Having spent 30 years in the trade industry she stepped aside to help her former clients in their businesses networking for Closettec, Inc., VanGogh Window Fashions and several others. Charmaine became an Ambassador for the Shelby County Chamber in 2011. She was Co-Ambassador of the year in 2017 and Ambassador of the year in

2018 and 2024. Charmaine has served on the Board for Sav-A-Life Shelby since 2017. Charmaine is the proud mother of her daughter, Layla, who graduated from UAB Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Layla is currently working on her masters to become a BCBA, teaching children with autism spectrum disorder. Charmaine loves to share nationwide that Shelby County is the BEST County in the Country. Being a Navy brat, she lived in many others—Cleveland, Ohio, Jacksonville, Florida, Biloxi Mississippi and Kitsap County, Washington before arriving in Shelby County in 1988. (Already a Bama Fan! TSCC February “Community Luncheon”

The Chamber’s February Community Luncheon, hosted by the chamber’s Small Business Work Group, is scheduled to feature presentations from Ashley McMakin (Ashley Mac’s).

The Community Luncheon will be held on Feb. 25 at the Pelham Civic Complex from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., doors open at 11 a.m.

The investment is $25 per person for Shelby Chamber investors and $35 per person for “Future” investors and includes lunch. Reserved Corporate Tables of six are available for $160.
