A production shop is a manufacturing facility dedicated to the fabrication, processing, and assembly of custom or high-performance metal components and products. These facilities manufacture a range of products, including but not limited to: broilers, wood connectors, metal doors, and wheelbarrows. The Local 104 members who work in these production shops are covered under a Production Shop Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). These CBAs differentiate from our Building Trades CBAs. The unique CBAs recognize the specialized skills required and the specific working conditions of the shop, ensuring that the Local 104 members who work in each of these production shops are adequately compensated and protected.
