From The Desk Of The CEO “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.” – Van Gogh At the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce, we recognize the Deidre Martinez importance of attraction retention within the workforce in our community. We continue to collaborate with community organizations and employers to develop and implement innovative ways to bring more people into our community to fill much-needed positions, while also retaining the talent we already have here. In partnership with Sheboygan County, we expect to launch a new program this May to assist with these efforts and are excited for what the future holds. Stay tuned…more exciting announcements to follow. We have a busy spring and summer ahead of us. This month we will kick off Young Professional Month with our Best Under 40 celebration. With more than 45 local nominees to celebrate, we hope you are joining us on May 4th at Village at 170 to cheer them on! To follow our Best Under 40 celebration we have several Young Professional opportunities available throughout May to connect with other Young Professionals in the area, explore Sheboygan County and see all the beautiful spaces it has to offer, along with professional and leadership development opportunities. To conclude Young Professional month, our YP committee has put together a phenomenal line up with speakers and activities at the YP Mini-Conference taking place, Wednesday, May 24th from 3:00–7:00 pm.
