From The Desk Of The CEO “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” - Milton Berle The month of July was full of excitement! We welcomed two new team members, Josh Aschenbach, Deidre Martinez Director of Membership & Workforce Development, and Carlos Ferrando, Transition Specialist. Make sure to stop in to say hi and welcome them to the Chamber community! This month also included a Friday Forum focused on the Economic Impact of Retail & Tourism in Sheboygan County, a vibe@5 at Motorhead Auto Detailing, and of course we can’t forget about our amazing Better Together Interns & Co-ops! Although we are sad that our Intern and Co-op annual summer program has concluded, we were grateful to have such a wonderful group join us this year. We hope they had as much fun as we did exploring Sheboygan County. Our goal is to immerse our visitors in all that Sheboygan County has to offer so that they may choose to move here permanently upon completion of their programs. If your organization hosts interns and co-ops, please do not hesitate to reach out and let us help you get them involved. We also welcome this group to participate in our Coastal Young Professionals Network, where they will engage with other local YPs and continue to grow roots in our community.
