Amir Masoumi

Milan, Italy

With over six years of international experience, I’ve contributed to large-scale urban and landscape projects where BIM workflows and performance-based design play a central role. My academic background includes dual master’s degrees in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design and BIM Management from Politecnico di Milano. I specialize in developing Landscape Information Models (LIM) that transform ecological data—such as plant growth, carbon capture, and pollution mitigation—into actionable insights. Recently, I’ve expanded my focus to Digital Twins and Smart Urban Green Infrastructure, and I’m currently authoring a research paper on how digital twins can support climate-resilient landscapes in dry urban environments. I’ve also obtained the LEED Green Associate credential and am currently preparing for the ISO 19650-2 certification, further strengthening my knowledge in sustainable and collaborative digital workflows. My goal is to contribute to forward-thinking firms, research labs, or design teams working at the intersection of landscape architecture, urban technology, and digital innovation — creating spaces that are not only well-designed, but also smart, adaptive, and measurable.
