FRIDAY, DEC. 9 ...
LCCOA’s staff set out to give seniors a trip to remember, and they passed with flying colors! The one-day Fall Foliage trip down the Mississippi River on Oct. 15 was full of fun, friends and photo ops aboard the Celebration Belle riverboat. Thanks to all who went and to everyone who helped make the trip a success! Turn to page 12 to see more photos.
Board the motor coach and travel to Fairview Farms Restaurant to enjoy a family-style meal of fried chicken, tossed salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans seasoned with ham, cole slaw, corn fritter topped with powdered sugar, and rolls with butter. Top it off with a dessert of pie and ice cream; choose from French silk chocolate pie, coconut pie, or lemon meringue pie. Then,
head to the Peoria Festival of Lights drive-through display.
