They chose a destination wedding ceremony at the Now Sapphire Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, with the Rev. Gregory Worch officiating the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maid of honor, Adrienne Ortman; matron of honor, Brittany Groenhagen; and bridesmaids, Chelsea Melodia, Alex Speer, Kandi Fenton, and Alyse Vickers; and Danielle Riese, as her personal attendant.
The groom’s best man was Tod Speer II; honorary best man, Mark Worch; and groomsmen, Reed Lally, Carl Speer, and Ryan McWethy. The bride graduated cum laude from the University of Phoenix, and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed by UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, in labor and delivery. After leaving college at UMASSBoston, the groom pursued a career in hockey. He now coaches professionally, and is a goalie coach for the Allen Americans, affiliated with the San Jose Sharks. After honeymooning in Cozumel, the couple returned home to Wylie, Texas.

The bride graduated from the University of Iowa, and went on to graduate school at Art University in San Francisco. The groom also graduated from the University of Iowa. After the reception, the couple went to St. Martin for a honeymoon. They currently are moving from San Francisco to Chicago.

If a large group photo is submitted, only one can be used in the quarter-page format, one photo is recommended in the half-page format, and up to four normally can be used in the fullpage format. Large group photos with long lists of names may require at least a half-page paid announcement. 100th Birthday
Faith, Bible keep her going strong Pauline Rowland will celebrate her 100th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at the Polo Senior Center. Come and share your memories. Pauline was born Nov. 12, 1915, in rural Polo. She has three sons, Eldon, Larry, and Earl, and a daughter, Sandra. She also has 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She has lived in the same house for more than 70 years, and is the only person left of 70 from her graduating Class of 1934. She attributes her longevity to her great faith in God, reading her Bible daily, and having such a wonderful family. Cards may be sent to 304 E. Dixon St., Polo, IL 61064.
