Dr. Kari (Morris) Carr graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy degree in educational leadership and policy studies from Indiana University in the fall of 2014. Her research centered on the intersection of urban Catholic schools and charter schools. Dr. Carr has coauthored several articles on recent initiatives in school choice and faithbased education. She is the daughter of John and Judy
(Kobbeman) Morris of Rock Falls, and is a 1996 graduate of Newman Central Catholic High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in 2000, and her master’s degree in 2003 from Northwestern University. She currently lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Tony, and four children. She works as an administrator in curriculum development for urban faith-based schools in Indianapolis.
