54th Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Mario Coronado Mr. and Mrs. Mario Coronado will celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary March 18, 2015. Josephine Urrutia and Mario Coronado were married 54 years ago in 1961, in Sterling. Soon after the wedding, they departed to West Germany for a 3-year tour of duty with the U.S. Army. They have three children, two born in Pirmasens, West Germany. Cynthia Ann Macarenas resides in Oahu, Hawaii, and is a nurse; Dino M. Coronado is superintendent of schools in the state of Texas; and Crystal Fischer is a travel consultant in Dixon. The Coronado family has

grown to 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mario is retired from the Army where he served for 23 years, American Financial Services for 21 years, and the Whiteside County Sheriffâ€™s Department for the past 23 years. Josephine retired after working for the Whiteside County Court as an interpreter for the past 20 years. Josie has been an organizer of many Latin American Club functions, and is a volunteer for many cases and community activities. They are planning a trip to Hawaii in early April. On Nov. 10, 1963, he married Sylvia Hagemann of Mount Morris, and gained three, very lucky children, Debbie, Linda, and Doug Hartle. Together, Dick and Sylvia had two

beautiful children, Dick and Kelly. He enjoys his eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
