100TH ANNIVERSARY CHARLEMAGNE GALA CELEBRATION
M
ark your calendars for a night of time travel with the St. Charles Area Chamber of Commerce. No suitcase needed, but do wear your best black-tie interpretation of the Roaring ‘20s for the 100th Annual Charlemagne Awards Gala. The gala is scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m. May 13 at the Q Center in St. Charles. Janet Roman, president and CEO of
the Chamber, anticipates a night full of celebration and recognition for the community. “We are pulling out all of the stops this year to celebrate the many accomplishments of the Chamber and the St. Charles community,” she said. “While our gala is a legacy to the past and now 100 years of this celebration, it will also serve as the centerpiece in looking forward to a bright
future for our businesses and community.” Setting the prohibition-era tone from the Roaring 20’s, guests are encouraged to wear black tie or 1920s fashion inspirations that sparkle and shine for a festive time. The Chamber will present its prestigious annual awards at the gala, including the L.E.A.P Award, Community Development Award, Community Image Award, and Civic Image Award.
