Charles Hubbard of Chana uses his 1916 Case steam engine to power a sawmill Sept. 21 at the Bos Brothers Historical Farm’s Old Fashioned Fall Harvest south of Erie. Hands-on demonstrations of agricultural chores of the past highlighted the event. The sawmill was used to cut cedar logs into squares so shingles could be made at another vintage machine.
