OLD FASHIONED FALL HARVEST

Charles Hubbard of Chana uses his 1916 Case steam engine to power a sawmill Sept. 21 at the Bos Brothers Historical Farm’s Old Fashioned Fall Harvest south of Erie. Hands-on demonstrations of agricultural chores of the past highlighted the event. The sawmill was used to cut cedar logs into squares so shingles could be made at another vintage machine. Story on page 2.
