Collin Armstrong, 13, and Joshua Kincaid, 14, both of Prophetstown, took advantage of the mild weather Sunday, Aug. 27, to take a walk in Prophetstown State Park. Cooler temperatures arrived in the region over the weekend after a three-day heat wave that tipped the thermometer at 100 degrees.
