Dean Troutman, 92, and walking partner Kathy Woodward make their way along Route 78 in Prophetstown on Saturday, June 24. Troutman has been trekking across Illinois to raise money and awareness for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. After camping for the night at Prophetstown State Park, the two were out for a three-mile walk before returning to the park and taking a rest day on Sunday. Story on page 3.
