PLT high schoolers scrub down a 1972 Plymouth Duster owned by Mike Irwin of Prophetstown during their Community Service Day on Thursday, May 4. Irwin said he saw students holding up the car wash sign and decided to get his classic car washed before the Sterling car show on Sunday.. Students at the school hosted a bake sale and car wash with all proceeds going to the Prophetstown family who lost their home in a fire on April 24. See page 13.
