City Council OKs landscaping contract for new city and township hall / 5

Lyle Hopkins of rural Polo uses a John Deere tractor to move a burning round bale of hay away from a machine shed owned by his neighbor, Herschel Newcomer, during a fire Sept. 10 at 7015 W. Judson Road, southeast of Polo. Several fire departments assisted the Polo Fire Department on the call. There were no injuries. Story on page 10.
