Dean Troutman pushes his cart as he heads to Forreston after enjoying breakfast at the Dogwood Inn. He was trekking along state Route 26 between Forreston and Polo. Troutman, 92, of Princeville, is walking to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. He spent Saturday night at the Polo Ambulance Office and Sunday night at the Forreston Fire Station before heading north to Freeport. Story: Page 3.
