Construction continues on the Colden Street Project in Polo. Here, crews work at the intersection of Mason and Congress streets by the Polo library. Last week’s warm temperatures made working conditions almost ideal for construction crews. The project encompasses about 10.5 blocks and will help alleviate water buildup on Illinois Route 26 during torrential rain events.
