A home 3 miles northeast of Stillman Valley in the 9000 block of East High Road was leveled by an explosion June 23. The cause of the explosion still is being investigated, but it appears to be a gas leak, Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle said. A resident suffered only minor injuries, police said. Story: Page 3.
