Taylor Kinney OF ‘CHICAGO FIRE’ ON NBC Now that Severide and Stella are married on “Chicago Fire,” is the dynamic between you and Miranda Rae Mayo still as comfortable in playing the parts?
She’s been great. And there is more Stella and Severide stuff to come. I would miss it.
Sylvester Stallone stars in “Tulsa King,” which begins streaming Sunday on Paramount+.
We didn’t get decent weather (for the wedding episode last year). It was raining and sleeting, it was cold, and it was almost May. Best-laid plans, right? We only had the location for a day, and I think it turned out great and looked amazing, thanks to everyone involved ... the director of photography, the camera operators, everybody. That was a fun day. It was beautiful, and I hope that everybody really dug it. How do you feel about continuing to have your work base in Chicago?
I’ve been in Chicago for 10 years now, and I’ve gotten to know the area through my work, which is fortunate. Though he came back as Matt Casey in last season’s finale, how is it not to have your former co-star Jesse Spencer around.
I miss him. He’s surrogate family, like a brother. When you spend that many years being a foot away from someone and looking him in the eye and telling so many stories, and that goes away ... yeah, I miss him. During the “Chicago Fire” hiatus periods, you don’t seem to do much work. Is that by choice?
Then you go, “It would be nice to spend time with family or friends,” so the past three or four years, that’s what I’ve been doing during the hiatus.

‘Tulsa King’ brings Sylvester Stallone to series work
I was on the grind since I was 22 or 23, and the work is when you’re not working. I would do the show and then do a movie and the. Go back to the show, but now, I’m in Serbia or I’m in Morocco or I’m in Egypt. I’m just away.
