Chris Mann of Rockford fixes stray straw on his and Cecilia Mann’s sculpture “Three-toed Straw Sloth” on Aug. 11. The U.S. National Straw Sculpting Competition runs Aug. 11-27, culminating in StrawFest Day on Aug. 26. Sculptures are displayed on the Mt. Morris campus, along with voting boxes. Story: Page 5.
