SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE
Dear Mokena Residents,
Summer in Mokena is something special, and this year we are excited to bring the community together once again for the 2nd Annual Front Street Fest, taking place May 15, 16, and 17 in the Front Street Metra parking lot.
This three-day celebration is all about great music, good food, and even better company. With seven live bands scheduled throughout the weekend, there is truly something for everyone. From “The Ron Burgundy’s” smooth yacht rock on Friday night, to a lively Saturday featuring both a family-friendly afternoon show inspired by the music of Taylor Swift and a high-energy dance party with “Libido Funk Circus” in the evening, to a country-inspired Sunday finale from “Nashville Electric Company,” each day offers its own unique experience.
In addition to the music, guests can enjoy a variety of food trucks and a beverage tent featuring beer, wine, seltzers, and margaritas. Whether you are coming out with friends, bringing the family, or simply looking for a
fun way to spend a spring weekend, Front Street Fest is designed to be a welcoming and memorable event for all.
Enclosed in this Summer Entertainment Guide, you will also find a variety of other community events happening throughout the season that you, your friends, and your family can enjoy.
Events like this are made possible through the support of local businesses, volunteers, and community members like you. We are proud to continue creating opportunities that bring people together and celebrate everything that makes Mokena such a wonderful place to live and work.
