Daily walks are perfect for silent meditation or catching up with a neighbor. The first snow means it’s time to find those cross-country skis, and a day spent gazing out over the water is a day well spent. Welcome home. At Lake Carroll residents relish the active, outdoor lifestyle in every season, from life swimming and boating on the lake to fishing, horseback riding and riding ATV/UTV along the trails. Each day brings the opportunity for new ways to enjoy the simple beauty of the community. Residents active lifestyles spills into the clubs and committees, sharing hobbies and interests and building friendships. Lake Carroll is a private planned community that offers four season, recreation in a secure environment for its members. This environment includes a 620-acre lake, an 18-hole golf course,

rolling wooded hills with scenic views, a pro shop, restaurant, lodge, aquatic complex, fish hatchery, campground, equestrian area, wildlife and trails. The Lake Carroll Association will provide Rules & Regulations, which govern members and serve to enhance and protect the facilities while not impeding on the enjoyment of the amenities. The Lake Carroll Association will fund and manage the amenities to ensure that the private recreationorientated community is maintained and enhanced, while the members are united in their efforts to support all of the amenities. LAKE CARROLL GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS The Lake Carroll Association provides rules and regulations that govern members and serve to enhance and protect LCA facilities while not impeding the enjoyment of the amenities. The LCA, by its covenants and restrictions, by-laws, rules and regulations, as well as the vision statement, will encourage the highest standards of ethics and behavior by its employees, members and guests. The rules and regulations are reviewed annually. For all members to be fully informed about compliance in taking care of your Lake Carroll property, all boating rules, permit information, trail rules, guest parking, etc., please check out the complete list of rules and regulations on the Lake Carroll Association website. The 2026 Rules and Regulations document and The Lake Carroll Building Rules & Regulations document are comprehensive and indexed for ease of finding specific information to answer questions pertaining to membership guidelines and responsibilities. • All vehicles including watercraft, golf cards, ATVs/UTVs, snowmobiles, etc. need to be registered and renewed annually with LCA. For specifics contact the LCA office, 815-493-2552. • Trail ATV/UTV and Lake Watercraft Quizzes are mandatory for everyone including guests. Access these quizzes on the website, golakecarroll. com. There’s one for Trail use and one for Lake use. If you have guests coming who will be using your equipment be sure to direct them to the website so they can fulfill this requirement. Only registered LCA vehicles are permitted. • Swim platforms and docks are required to have section and lot numbers, as well as reflective tape. Refer to Rules & Regulations for details.

• Hunters are required to successfully complete the LCA Wildlife Management Quiz and a range qualification prior to registration. A passing quiz will be awarded a certificate upon completion. For details refer to the Wildlife Management Regulations Section of the Rules & Regulations Document. • Fishing at Lake Carroll is a popular activity and requires a current Illinois Fishing License. Refer to Chapter 54 of the Rules & Regulations for everything you need to know about the beach, fishing regulations, marina procedures, slip assignments and boat parking. • There is a great community of campers at the campground. FISHING AT LAKE CARROLL

Lake Carroll’s waters are home to many trophy species, including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, black and white crappie, bluegill, yellow perch, channel and flathead catfish, muskie and northern pike. Licenses may be obtained locally at Miller’s Sport Center and/or Trailside General Store. Lake Carroll is one of the few private fisheries in Illinois that operates a fish hatchery where walleye are spawned and raised to be released back into the lake. Along with the hatchery, the Associations funds a liberal fish stocking budget to purchase other desirable species, such as more walleye, muskie, and channel catfish.
