2 The Northern Illinois MVAS includes and recognizes athletes from over 100 schools across Shaw Media’s newspaper publications in Northern Illinois. Nearly 600 athletes are considered for these awards which were presented on June 12th at Shaw Media’s 2019 Northern Illinois MVA Celebration held at the NIU Convocation Center in DeKalb.
