Qualifications: Requires three or more years of experience in a service-oriented, confidential, computerized environment or an equivalent combination of higher education and experience. Must possess the ability to work in a team-oriented office with a high degree of accuracy, minimal supervision and frequent interruptions. Knowledge of and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) is necessary. Office experience with excellent organizational, interpersonal, time-management and customer service skills is required. FESTIVAL OF TREES
The Jasper County 4-H clubs will be hosting a “Festival of Trees” on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Jasper County Courthouse on Friday, November 28th following the Lighting of the Courthouse and the Lighted Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Newton Chamber of Commerce. The Trees will be on display through Dec. 29th. The Festival theme is “The Giving Tree.” Several clubs have adopted a local organization or charity to decorate their tree in support of. They will then donate the items under their tree or the decorations themselves to their selected organization. Please stop by and check out the creativity, generosity, and citizenship of our Jasper County 4-H’ers. Some of the organizations being represented this year are: the NHS Body Shop, Kellogg Food Pantry, PCM Food Pantry, The Animal Rescue League, Outreach Child Care for Foster Families, Jasper County Food Pantries, Clearview Recovery Center and more.
