Shared Maintenance Technician Jasper County is seeking qualified applicants to fill a newly created full-time position for a Shared Maintenance Technician. This position will be shared between the County’s Building & Grounds Maint Dept. and the Conservation Dept. Duties will vary from routine maintenance, yard care, snow removal, general park maintenance to more detailed tasks of plumbing & heating, electrical, equipment operation, assisting with educational programs, forestry management, Wildland Firefighter and other tasks as needed. Selected individual will work indoors and outside, in hot, cold, dry and wet environments. Applicants will need to be able to: perform physical work, lift up to 100 lbs, climb, stand, sit bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods.
