Tech / Park Officer Jasper County Conservation has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician / Park Officer to perform routine maintenance and repairs at county parks, campgrounds, bike trails, conservation properties, park security, rule enforcement, and assist with various programs. Selected candidate will oversee the campground, cabins, and facilities at Mariposa Park. Some weekend/evening work required. Valid Iowa Driver’s License and good driving record required. Other requirements: valid Iowa driver’s license, experience in emergency planning, Incident Command, System, and National Incident Management System required. Other duties include but not limited to develop and coordinate County-wide EMS programs and related services, promote partnership with local organizations (EMS & Fire), Grant writing, Public Safety Instructor, analyze needs and provide County-wide training, coordinate and evaluate scenarios/drills for public safety, assist with maintaining County’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, assist Director coordinating field and Emergency Operations Center activities.
