Sarah Ford for Shaw Media
The Fulton Police Department teamed up with Krumpets to support the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics with a Cops & Cookies fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 8. For $5 or more, contributors received a free cookie from Krumpets and gratitude from the officers, athletes and Krumpets staff collecting donations along Fourth Street. Thanks to community support, the event raised $2,832 for Special Olympics. Pictured from left are Melanie Kalyan, Police Chief Nick Neblung, Sgt. Dwayne Hamilton, officers Benjamin Eshelman and Jeremy Leitzen and Manreet Kalyan of Krumpets.
