SWEET CORN TIME Sarah Ford for Shaw Media

Brothers Stan (left) and Seth Sikkema of Sikkema Farm hold a couple of fresh-picked ears of sweet corn Friday, July 7, at their family farm stand located at 21270 Cattail Road in Fulton. Ever since sweet corn sales started late last week, the Sikkema farmers have sold out in record time. Their crop has been limited this year because of drought and critter damage, but when available it’s $5 a baker’s dozen. Follow Sikkema Farm on Facebook to stay up to date on hours and availability.
