As part of the Rebuild Illinois capital program, the Illinois Department of Transportation started sidewalk construction along Illinois 136 (14th Avene) in Fulton on Monday, March 20. The work zone is from Fourth Street to Illinois 84 and will require lane closures controlled by flaggers during the project. In-roadway work is expected to be completed by June 15. An excavator for the project was parked on Fifth Street on Saturday, March 18.
