Heidi Miller of Forreston and her dog Penny, a Goldendoodle, finish first Sept. 7 in the 2024 Doggy Dash 5K in Polo. The event, organized and run by Polo High School’s Student Council, raised $500 for the Happy Tails Humane Society in Rock Falls. Story on page 7.
