Forreston Police Chief Chris Thiel works on setting up his office in the new village hall and police station on Feb. 2. Village and Forreston Police Department staff moved into the building, located at 301 N. Walnut St., over the course of Feb. 1-3. The village purchased the building – formerly Green’s Motor Company – on Jan. 25, 2022, for $155,000, and spent a year on renovations. Story on page 4.
